July 28, 2015 Never forget the drum !!! It is so cool to upgrade to AP Racing, Brembo, Alcon or any well known racing calipers. But when people remove the O.E. caliper, the hand brake will also be removed. Most people couldn’t find a better solution and feel frustrated. Brembo provides extra calipers through the cable function for parking. It works pretty well but needs a lot of design efforts and couldn’t bear too heavy vehicles. UPI type 2 products provide user superior firm parking mechanisms. It’s no more a problem for upgrading to any racing calipers. All UPI’s drum mechanisms are designed following Toyota’s rules. It functions well even when facing the hydraulic leak. Drum In Disc system is the best solution for today and is installed in most of the luxury and sporty vehicles.
